1. Use five colors, in order of which will be used the most to the least: black, Princeton orange, Periwinkle blue, mint green, and primary red
2. Use acrylic paint or oil pastel to create horizontal lines of color.
3. You can use one color of however many of the five colors per line.
This work provokes questions as to who is considered the artist. Was it the person who created the instructions? Or the person who created the piece? Or perhaps both?
These instructions were created in connection with Robiyahon's major, computer science. The amount of each color used mirrors the amount this color typically appears in code. This connection was not shared until after I created the piece.
